Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 4, 2026
These Terms & Conditions explain how Bradford Websites ("we," "us," or "our") provides web design and hosting services and how you may use this website. By using bradfordwebsites.com or hiring us, you agree to these terms. The specific scope and price of any project are confirmed in a separate written quote or agreement, which takes precedence if anything differs.
1. Our Services
We design, build, host, and maintain websites for small businesses. The exact pages, features, and deliverables for your project are defined in the written quote we provide before work begins. Work outside that agreed scope is treated as a new request and quoted separately.
2. Pricing & Payment
- Prices shown on our website (including the Pricing page) are starting points. Your final price is confirmed in a written quote before any work begins.
- Website builds are typically billed 50% deposit to start and 50% on launch, unless your quote states otherwise.
- The monthly care plan is billed in advance (monthly or annually) and begins when your site goes live.
- Care plans are month-to-month with no long-term contract. Fees already paid are non-refundable, but you can cancel future billing at any time (see Cancellation below).
- If an invoice remains unpaid, we may pause work or hosting until the balance is settled.
3. Care Plan — What's Included
The monthly (or annual) care plan is a maintenance plan, not unlimited support. Each billing period it includes:
- Website hosting, SSL certificate, and domain/DNS management
- Uptime monitoring and regular backups
- Security and software updates
- Up to two (2) small content edits per month — for example, a text change, swapping a photo, or updating your hours, phone number, or prices
- Email support, with a response within two (2) business days
4. Care Plan — What's Not Included
The following are not part of the care plan and are quoted separately at our standard rates:
- New pages or new sections
- Design or layout changes and redesigns
- New features, integrations, or forms beyond the existing contact form
- E-commerce / online store functionality
- Copywriting or content creation
- SEO campaigns or advertising management
- Work beyond the included monthly content-edit allowance
- Rush or same-day work (a rush fee may apply)
Fair use: included edits do not roll over from month to month. Edit requests should be sent by email and may be batched together. Additional or out-of-scope work is billed at our standard hourly rate or quoted as a separate project, and is always agreed before we begin.
5. Hosting & Uptime
We make every reasonable effort to keep your site online and performing well, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service. Hosting relies on third-party providers, and we are not responsible for outages, data loss, or issues caused by those providers, by events outside our control, or by changes you or third parties make to the site.
6. Your Responsibilities
- Provide the content, images, and information we need in a timely manner, and respond to requests for review and approval.
- Ensure you have the rights to any text, images, logos, or other materials you give us to use.
- Keep your account, domain, and billing information accurate and up to date.
7. Ownership & Portfolio
Once your project is paid in full, you own the final website content and design we create for you. Third-party components (such as fonts, plugins, or stock images) remain under their own licenses. Unless you ask us in writing not to, we may feature your completed site and its name in our portfolio and marketing.
8. Domains
Where we register or manage a domain on your behalf, it is registered for your business and remains yours. You are responsible for domain renewal fees unless your agreement states we cover them. If you already own a domain, you remain responsible for it at your registrar.
9. Cancellation
You may cancel your care plan at any time with 30 days' notice; billing stops at the end of the current paid period. On cancellation, hosting and maintenance end, and we will reasonably assist you in moving your site to another provider. Deposits and fees for work already performed are non-refundable.
10. Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Bradford Websites is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business, arising from your website or our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services means you accept the updated terms.
